Kyle joined Gradient Investments in 2025 and has more than 15 years of financial services experience. Prior roles include portfolio manager with a couple of large international institutional asset management firms, also was an advisor with a retail wealth advisory firm. Kyle has developed experience with financial advice, asset allocation, and investment analysis across the asset spectrum. He is a CFA® charter holder and has appeared on the Schwab network.

Katelyn Nusser is a licensed Enrolled Agent from Bruce, Wisconsin. Obtained her accounting degree from Northwood Technical College. Katelyn joined Simmons & Simmons-Public Accountants in 2016.
Katelyn provides a wide variety of services including tax preparation, tax planning, payroll and financial statement preparation. Katelyn is actively involved in the community serving as the Clerk for the Larned Recreation Commission, board member for the Santa Fe Trailer Center and President of Larned Civic PRIDE Organization.
If you catch Katelyn outside the office or volunteering, you could find her enjoying her free time outdoors in a variety of activities with a special passion for camping and reading. Katelyn is an avid supporter and member of the Nusser Racing team traveling across the Midwest with William. She even has a little sense of speed having her motorcycle license.
William Nusser is a licensed Enrolled Agent from Hutchinson, KS that has a passion for hard work. Proudly Simmons & Simmons-Public Accountants has been his only place of employment since graduating from Washburn University in 2010. In 2017, he purchased the firm from Kevin and Joe Simmons.
William has a passion for servant leadership serving as Mayor for the City of Larned since 2015 while having active roles in community with participation in community organizations, including being the treasurer for the Larned Chamber of Commerce and a past president of the Larned Civic PRIDE Organization.
Outside of using his expertise in tax and accounting for clients at Simmons & Simmons what drives him is traveling the Midwest racing dirt oval track cars. Across the Midwest you can find the Nusser Racing team competing across various divisions.
Tyler is a Senior Portfolio Manager at Gradient Investments, where he focuses on portfolio management, asset allocation, and investment research across multiple asset classes. He provides market insight and portfolio strategy to support client investment decisions. Tyler is a CFA® charterholder and has been featured in media outlets including Schwab Network, Reuters, and The Wall Street Journal.
Keith joined Gradient Investments in 2018 and has more than 30 years of industry experience. Prior roles include senior portfolio manager for a large institutional asset management firm, managing a multi-billion-dollar portfolio. Keith is a CFA® charter holder, managed a Lipper Award-winning mutual fund, and has been featured in media outlets such as CNBC, Bloomberg, Investor’s Business Daily, Nasdaq and Reuters.
As President, Michael is the leader of Gradient Investments and has been with the firm since 2012. He brings more than 35 years of industry experience, including prior roles managing multi-billion-dollar portfolios for an institutional asset manager. Michael is a CFA® charter holder and is a frequent contributor on CNBC, Fox Business, Barron’s, and the Wall Street Journal.
Ron Bangle, CRPC, and Investment Advisor Representative, brings over three decades of serving Kansans with financial services in areas of wealth management, retirement planning, estate creation and preservation. Whether assisting clients in preparation for retirement or helping structure a succession plan for Individuals, business owners or the family farm, Ron enjoys the relationship building aspects of being an advisor for Iron Horse Financial. A Series 65 fiduciary advisor, licensed life and health agent and certification from the College of Financial Planning as a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC). Ron resides in Wichita and Kansas City and enjoys time with his family and especially following the activities of six grandchildren.
Margo Lysell is the director of administration for Iron Horse Financial. Margo has worked in education for over 25 years. Margo received her bachelor’s degree from Washburn University and her master’s in administration from Fort Hays State University. Margo brings her organizational and technological skills to Iron Horse as well as her commitment to positive client communications and relationship building.
Emma Malm is the Operations Manager for Iron Horse Financial. Emma strives to create the best experience for our clients. Emma is a recent graduate from Tabor College with a major in Business and Marketing. Emma is a licensed life and health agent and supports clients with life insurance and Medicare planning needs. Emma also coaches high school basketball at McPherson High and loves her English Bulldog, Lucy.
Brad Malm is the co-owner of Iron Horse Financial Services and serves as an Investment Advisor Representative. He brings extensive experience in helping business owners navigate mergers, acquisitions, succession planning, and long-term business strategies.
Brad holds dual master’s degrees in Administrative Criminal Justice and Business Administration (MBA). He also held both his PHR and SHRM-CP certifications and has been an active member of the human resources community for more than 20 years.
In addition to his professional experience, Brad proudly served in the U.S. Air Force. He and his wife, Jaime, have been married since 2001 and are proud parents of three children: Emma, Eva, and Ashton.
